Our learning design
“The child has a hundred languages, a hundred hands, a hundred thoughts, a hundred ways of thinking of playing, of speaking.” – Loris Malaguzzi
Each of our classes at the Early Learning Centre are led by with an Early Childhood Teacher who works collaboratively with educators to provide an enriching pedagogy and curriculum. We have a full-time chef onsite providing all meals which are inclusive in catering for children’s complex dietary needs.
Our Nursery Classes are informed by current research around neuroscience. The small group sizes provide the opportunity for children to develop secure primary relationships which offer significant opportunities for focussed and unhurried attention. Educators are responsive and sensitive, working closely with families to support the Centre’s youngest learners.
Our Toddler Class celebrates children’s burgeoning independence, respecting their growing skills and autonomy and recognising them as capable and competent learners.
Our Pre-School Programs adopt a holistic, integrated curriculum. Children take part in specialist lessons in their year prior to school including Christian Studies, PE, French, Music and a Library lesson with the opportunity to borrow books supporting continuity across learning contexts.
