Sense of Colour presents two artists who respond to sensations of light and orchestrations of colour.

Sioux Garside is an artist working from her studio in the Hunter Valley. She also works as a freelance writer and curator in the university and museum sector. Recent writing on contemporary art includes publications for Elisabeth Cummings, Colin Lanceley, Ildiko Kovacs and Suzanne Archer. She has held roles as deputy director of Newcastle Art Gallery, inaugural director of Campbelltown City Art Gallery and senior curator of the University of Sydney art collection.

Rachel Scott is a Sydney artist who has exhibited internationally and been the recipient of numerous scholarships. She holds a PhD from the University of Sydney.
